Drue Thomas smiling and looking off to the side

Oh, hey!

I’m Drue Thomas. I’m a product designer, researcher and lecturer specializing in the systems that help teams do their best work, at scale. Think: removing operational friction, information at your fingertips, systems that get out of the way and let you work.

At Netflix, I turned disparate Marketing workflows into a connected data ecosystem, with over 90% adoption across 900+ marketers. A spreadsheet hates to see me coming. Before that, I worked on the Home desk at The New York Times, developing Curator, the homepage CMS.

Outside of work I spend most of my time cooking, hanging out with my dog, and chipping away at my massive pile of unread books.

I’m currently open to opportunities! If you’re interested in working together, reach out via email or on my LinkedIn.
